Erdogan Travels to Azerbaijan for Turkic States Summit
(MENAFN) Türkiye’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan set off for Azerbaijan on Tuesday to participate in the 12th Summit of the Organization of Turkic States, held in the northern Azerbaijani city of Gabala.
Erdogan departed from Istanbul’s Ataturk Airport at 9:15 am (0615 GMT), boarding the presidential plane for the journey.
The summit, hosted by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, aims to unite leaders from Turkic countries under the central theme of "Regional Peace and Security."
